from South Dakota

Friendly faces and wide open spaces. South Dakota feels pretty much like home.

The drive up took about four hours, but it was a pretty nice trip. I realized that this is only the second time in my life that I’ve gone on a lengthy trip by myself… I’m not sure what to think about that.

Roadtrips are better when they aren’t just about the destination, so I stopped a few times to admire the view. Unfortunately most of Northern Nebraska isn’t much of a view, but hey. Thought that counts.

Oh, and when I got here? Turkeys. Lots of turkeys.
